How long will it take to receive my furniture? Most orders are shipped within 2 business days after funding has cleared. Depending on which part of the United States you live in, you could receive your order anywhere from 4-10 business days after placing it.
What carrier and method do you use for shipping? We use multiple freight transportation carriers to ship your product to you. Orders are palletized and wrapped at the warehouse. In the rare case that replacement parts or hardware need to be sent, we will use USPS, UPS or FedEx if the package size is small enough.
Does somebody have to be home to receive the furniture shipment? Yes. All furniture must be signed for - no exceptions. This protects both parties and ensures your order is delivered successfully.
What can I expect to happen during the delivery? Deliveries are strictly curbside, which means the carrier will deliver your item at the end of your driveway or in front of your apartment building. Please inspect each package you receive to ensure that there is no physical damage to the boxing. Also, the driver may ask for your help with a heavy box, so if you are physically able to help the driver with your package it is appreciated.
What do I do if the furniture arrives and I suspect there is damage? Once all of the boxes have been unloaded from the truck, please inspect the outside of the boxes before signing the delivery receipt. If you notice box damage, make sure you write that on the delivery receipt, and write a notation that the shipment is "Subject to inspection." This is critical in the claims process, since it is difficult to file a freight claim for damage that was not indicated at the time of delivery. Do not refuse delivery as all shipments are fully insured and we are not responsible for return shipping charges.
Damage/Defects
What if my furniture arrives and I see there is damage? Please notate on the delivery bill of laden that there is damage and that the order is subject to inspection, then unpack and inspect the furniture. Should you receive a piece that is damaged or defective, contact us first at info@dadsbunkbeds.com . DadsBunkBeds.com can arrange to send you a replacement. Do not refuse the shipment as all shipment are fully insured .
What do I do if I discover damage to my furniture once open the box? We ask that you provide us with digital pictures of the damaged piece/s so we can clearly understand the damage and help you in the claims process.
If I discover I have missing pieces, hardware or assembly instructions, what should I do next? Please unpack everything and look in any drawers before contacting us about missing parts, after all most parts are found in the box or in drawers. If pieces are missing, please contact us through DadsBunkBeds.com and let us know which items you are missing so that we an send you replacement parts.
Are there any warranties against manufacturing defects? All of the products we sell come with a limited 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects. Neglect and/or misuse of any of our products beyond normal wear and tear is not covered. Available replacement parts that are not covered due to misuse or neglect will be sold at our wholesale pricing plus shipping cost.
